In less than a week, we're expecting a second major snowstorm to hit the area. This time however, it's supposed to hit the NYC area pretty bad, unlike the last one where Staten Island was covered in snow and the Bronx got nothing. Snow for all!

2010 Super Bowl Ads Monday

Congrats Saints!
Congratulations to the New Orleans Saints for winning the Super Bowl! I'm not much of a football fan, but that was one interesting game to watch. That interception by Tracey Porter in the fourth quarter was one heck of a move!
As much fun as the game was, the pricey commercials were for the most part fun to watch too. Is it just me, or did anyone else find those GoDaddy ads cheesy?

Snowy Saturday

Just as forecasters predicted, snow came in yesterday night and covered NYC. While the city didn't get as much as people in Southern New Jersey, we did receive a few inches and a whole lot of wind (my umbrella snapped in half!). Taking this snowy opportunity, I grabbed my shiny new camera and headed out to take some pictures.

Super Bowl Ads
This coming Sunday is the Super Bowl and with that are the big budget commercials. I wonder what kind of interesting ads we will see this year. In the meantime, here is one from last year that was hilarious and stuck in my head.

Looking Forward to Snow
While many in the area are probably dreading about the news of incoming snowstorm this coming Saturday, I'm actually hoping we get a decent amount. That way I can head out and take some random pictures around my neighborhood and update my snow pictures. The last time I took a bunch of snow pictures was about 6 years ago, so I think an update is way overdue.

Take Three
I had three topics ready to be typed out for today's post, but had to revised all of them after I paused for a second and thought about each one. I know this blog has low readership (thanks to those that come back on a constant basis!), but even so there’s that ever so slight chance that someone would read it and figure out who I'm talking about and find the post mean. I take that risk every time I talk about someone in general (notice in those posts I refrain from using "he" or "she" specifically?), but sometimes I just mean everyone in general that fits in that category. Of course this being the internet, someone out there will take it literally and/or personally and exact revenge in a not-so-polite email or comment reply.
I guess those scrapped topics are just one of those that are conversations amongst close friends only.
